The main objective of this project is to identify the presence and concentration of rubber tires derived chemicals in Helsinki waterways (fresh water, Vantaa River; sea water, Baltic Sea). The project will characterize the physiological and behavioral effects of the detected chemicals on Finnish aquatic invertebrates.
