The aim of the research is to produce knowledge on the theory and practices of ecosocial education. I review empathy towards non-human life and whether empathy education could lead to sustainable life orientation. I also develop and explore art-based pedagogical methods for empathy education. My goal is to put the research results into practice in pedagogical and societal work.
