The main objective of the project is to examine the effects of variable environmental factors in the reproductive behaviour and success, demographics, and population dynamics of kestrels, focusing on the impacts of agricultural intensification and climate change. The project aims to identify how the course of change in agricultural environments and weather conditions has affected kestrel populations living in agricultural fields during the last four decades.
