The application period for the Nessling Foundation’s autumn 2025 funding calls has now closed – thank you to all applicants. The general call received 586 applications – the highest number ever in the history of the Nessling Foundation. The new Murros-call also sparked great interest, with 41 applications submitted.
The themes of the 2025 funding calls were accelerating the sustainability transformation and moving away from structural overconsumption, and they proved to be inspirational for researchers and other applicants.
This year, we received a record number of applications:
- 586 applications for the general call
- 41 applications for the new Murros-call
In total, 627 applications were submitted – more than ever before in the history of the Nessling Foundation.
The large number of applications shows that researchers and practitioners are motivated and have ideas for driving the sustainability transformation and moving away from structural overconsumption.
Funding decisions will be published as follows:
- General call: 17 November 2025
- Murros-call: 3 December 2025
