PLANET develops playful Interactive Visual Analytics (IVA) to teach data literacy in the context of climate change and biodiversity to encourage action. PLANET provides a data- based worldview to strengthen decision-making and action, with the following objectives:
-Integrate theories and design methodologies of IVA in climate change and biodiversity
-Analyse empirical results of experiments by designing, developing, and evaluating i) the PLANETDataBook (an instructional material) ii) playful IVA strategies in web-based and VR applications based on behavioural and psychological outcomes
-Defining a framework to design playful IVA strategies that engages individuals with behavioural and attitudinal changes.
