In 2026, the Nessling Foundation will fund projects through two separate funding calls.
General call is intended for projects that enable or support sustainability transformation that protects natural systems.
Funding available:
€3 250 000
Who can apply: Doctoral thesis and postdoc researchers, research groups, organisations etc.
Application period:
From 17 August to 28 August
Small funding is intended for civil society activities within the sustainability transformation.
Funding available:
Maximum of €10 000 for a single project
Who can apply: Finnish organisations with a business ID
Application period:
From 9 March to 20 March
