The Nessling Foundation’s general grant call is open from 11 to 29 August 2025. Are you wondering if your project is eligible for funding? A communication and interaction plan is a mandatory part of the application – are you unsure what to take into account when writing it? You can book a personal grant application sparring time starting from August 11.
We offer personal advice until the end of the application period. Please read beforehand carefully both the criteria for grant and the instructions for grant applicants (separate instructions for doctoral thesis, postdoc and science-based action project applications). As session times are limited, please book only one time for yourself and cancel your reservation if you are unable to use it.
You can book a time for
- When you wish to discuss your overall project idea and its eligibility for funding
- When you wish to discuss the communication and interaction plan
- You are applying for project funding for science-based action projects and want to discuss your project and application.
For discussing budget and other administrative issues you can call Grant Specialist Kristiina Takkinen, who has separate service hours, listed at the end of this article.
Sparring times are 15 minutes long. A few booking tips:
- Remember to include your phone number. We will call you.
- Read carefully beforehand both the criteria for grant and the instructions for grant applicants on our website.
- Get familiar with the application form in Nesslink grant system beforehand. The form will open on August 12.
- Decide beforehand which issue is the one you would like to concentrate mainly on.

In addition to sparring sessions, you can call our Grant Specialist Kristiina Takkinen during our general grant call (from 11 to 29 August) on specific service hours: on Tuesdays between 2–4 PM and all other office days between 3–4 PM.
