We will develop cost-effective and implementable methods for reintroduction of threatened wood-inhabiting fungi. Our primary objective is to directly contribute to the conservation of seven species of threatened wood-decay fungi through successful reintroduction to suitable forests within their previous range. Throughout the project we will cooperate with forestry companies and stakeholders involved in nature conservation.
