Rewilding as a strategy to combine ecological restoration, conservation and social sciences – How can we assess the success of rewilding actions ?This PhD will focus on the topic of rewilding, a recent concept emerging as an effective way to restore and conserve nature while empowering human communities. Within the theoretical framework of international policies on climate change and biodiversity, this project aims to develop new ways to assess the success of a rewilding programme, based on an innovative combination of biological and community-based indicators.
