Aerosolipäästöjen lukumääräkokojakumaa kuvaavan moduulin kehittäminen ilmastomalleihinThis research aims at improving the performance of the global climate ECHAM-HAM model in predicting the aerosols composition and climate change which occur in the atmosphere over the years. Such goal will be achieved by implementing a new size-segregated aerosol number emissions module into the global climate ECHAM-HAM model. This research will be carried out by using the new particle number emissions that have been recently developed and used in the GAINS model at the International Institute for Applied System Analysis (IIASA). The implementation of new ECHAM-HAM modules will be finally examined through a comparison between the modelled particle number concentrations and size distributions with measurements data.
